Notifications

Overview​

Notifications keep you informed about important events in your RenderDoc account. From generation completions to team updates, stay in the loop.

Notification Types​

Document Notifications​

  • Generation Complete - Document ready for download
  • Generation Failed - Error during generation
  • Batch Complete - Batch job finished

Team Notifications​

  • Member Joined - New team member accepted invite
  • Member Left - Team member removed or left
  • Role Changed - Member role was updated

Account Notifications​

  • Security Alert - Login from new device
  • Billing Alert - Payment issues
  • Quota Warning - Approaching usage limits

System Notifications​

  • Maintenance - Scheduled downtime
  • New Features - Product updates
  • Tips - Usage recommendations

Notification Center​

Access all notifications from the bell icon in the header:

  • Unread Badge - Shows count of new notifications
  • Mark as Read - Clear individual or all
  • Quick Actions - Act directly from notification

Managing Notifications​

Read/Unread​

  • Click to mark individual as read
  • Use Mark All Read for bulk action
  • Unread notifications stay highlighted

Filtering​

  • All - Every notification
  • Unread - Only new notifications
  • By Type - Filter by category

Deletion​

  • Delete old notifications
  • Clear notification history
  • Some system notifications cannot be deleted

Notification Preferences​

Configure what you receive in Settings:

Email Notifications​

  • Document completion emails
  • Error alerts
  • Weekly digest summary

In-App Notifications​

  • Real-time alerts
  • Sound notifications (optional)
  • Desktop notifications (if enabled)

Tips​

  • Check notifications regularly
  • Enable email alerts for critical events
  • Clear old notifications periodically
  • Configure preferences to reduce noise
